Here we have Luke’s Toyota JDM BB one of only 2 in the UK, this car has been built from the ground up from a standard car, with the help of a few friends and is own hard work….
It’s handy owning a paint and body restoration work shop, with easy access to ramps and professional tools for any job.
Luke has owned Many fast cars in the past, and they have mostly been JAP, most of us reading this right now know the score when it comes to Jap performance cars…..
Luke’s first real love was his Glanza 1.3 turbo.. Finished in candy pink, till now when i see him he’s always on about that car.. I never got to see it in the flesh but from what i have heard its was a great car and super fast.. Till some one crashed into into and wrote it off. leaving him the only option to break it for parts…
Since then Lukes mind set was to try Something different, he turned his eye to the VIP styled culture that is popular in the US.
his first dabble at it was a VIP Merc before his BB which was nice, but it wasn’t Jap, so his second VIP project car was this 2002 toyota BB..
It’s taken him 18months to put this build together from standard.

The exterior is freshly finished in 202 solid black.
The OEM JDM wind deflectors is a great touch..
Front is a USDM Spec front end.
The number plate recess has been deleted
Wheel wise, he opted for the standard and much loved BBS oo3 S
Front 3″ dish 9 x 16 Et25 Rears 3.5″ dish 9 x 16 Et25 wrapped in Falken 912 195/40/16
Finished in silver chrome with 9CT gold bolts
……..The chassis is nicely sat on a fully digital Air runner air ride system. with 21 FRT adjustments. Comprising of 2 x vivair 480c pumps controlled by a digital controller and air runner bags in all four corners.
Door cards and Sub housing trimmed Nice too..
The interior is kept clean and simple….For those long journeys and road road trips. Centre console consists of a pioneer double din navigation system, with crystal fan and heater dials to add bling to the look.
The back seats houses the custom sub install
He doesn’t plan to run this car in the winter, so he will soon be in hand of Honda EG6 fully stripped with a b18 Engine. Again he hopes he can customise this and add the honda to his collection over winter, so it can be ready for a few track day session next year, he loves the stance and the drive of the BB but he wants something fast again so hence the purchase a Honda..
Its always great to do a photo shoot and meet new people he sais so when the Honda is built ill be for sure featuring that too..
